Experimental Audio Research is ex-Spacemen 3 guitarist/keyboard player, Sonic Boom's, ambient droney project. Over the years they've released several albums. Much of E.A.R.'s music is similar to Spacemen 3's Ecstacy (and Ecstacy in Slow Motion). Lots of sound manipulation and analog keyboards. This is the first E.A.R. album, Mesmerised.Tracks:

Thanks for posting this! also, i hate to be pedantic but Sonic Boom wasn't the bass player in spacemen 3, he played guitar and synthesiser and sang a bit too.... Most recently he's playing gigs with his band Spectrum. (london show on 10th November 09 with support from Dieter Moebius from Cluster/Kluster and Harmonia)
